  • National access - Our IP server network ensures easy and reliable access to the Internet, through one unique dial-up telephone number at the cost of a local call, regardless of where you are in South Africa
  • Convenient billing - Your TelkomInternet Dial-up charge can appears on your monthly Telkom telephone account. If you so wish. (No hassle.)
  • No contracts - Your TelkomInternet dial-up service can be cancelled at any time. Certain products within the TelkomInternet product range are subject to terms & conditions.
  • One-stop support - Centralised sales, service activation and 24/7 customer support services reduce turnaround times for new installations and problem management.
  • Web mail access - Read your email from any PC connected to the Internet by using the TelkomInternet Webmail facility.
  • Anti-virus filtering- All incoming and outgoing email messages are scanned for malicious content.
  • SPAM Management - Allows you to set a SPAM profile to limit unsolicited email to your inbox.
Important Information on our TelkomInternet 128K ISDN product offering:
  • Calls on both channels of the ISDN line will be billed.
  • You will need a 128k-enabled ISDN terminal adaptor.
You will also need:
  • A telephone line
  • TelkomInternet Analogue connection: A normal telephone line, if you do not have an existing telephone line, please contact 10219 to order.
  • TelkomInternet ISDN connection: An ISDN (digital) telephone line, if you do not have an existing ISDN telephone line. Please contact 10217 (business customers), 10219 (residential customer) or click here to order or upgrade existing line to ISDN.   • A computer with the following minimum requirements:
  • Pentium (133 MHz processor or better)
  • 14,4 bit/s (or higher speed) internal or external modem or ISDN adaptor
  • 64 MB RAM
  • 40 MB free storage
  • Windows 95/8 or 3.x or NT
  • Dial-up software
  • Internet browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator
